Job Summary: The Associate Director, Enterprise Data Management, is responsible for developing and implementing a data governance framework. The role overseas a global team of data governance leads and product owners focused within SAP and Centric software applications for Material, Customer, Vendor, and additional related master data. In addition, the Associate Director, Enterprise Data Management will be responsible for working with cross functional partners to ensure compliance with the data governance framework and clear communication for additional data requirements for new projects. These projects will be related to new materials, customer data, and vendor master data needs and the Associate Director, Enterprise Data Management will ensure timeliness and prioritization efforts are aligned with company goals and objectives. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business and IT leaders and other stakeholders to establish data governance best practices and ensure data governance initiatives are aligned with business goals- Develop and implement data governance framework, policies, and standards across SAP- Lead data governance team (consisting of direct and in-direct reports) and projects, including communications and project management activities globally- Communicate master data related initiatives, timelines, and challenges to stakeholders on a monthly basis- Creation and maintenance of SAP Master Data, including material, customer, vendor, and manufacturing / location data.- Create the long-term Master Data Management vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and objectives. Requirements:- 7 to 10 years’ experience within Enterprise Data Governance, Project Management, and/or SAP Data Governance experience.- 5+ years SAP master data experience strongly preferred.- Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross-functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross-functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature.- Extensive knowledge of master data and enterprise software and how to bring data together to report them. - Extensive experience with global teams and cross functional stakeholders.- Bachelor’s degree minimum, advance degree preferred.- High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid paced environment.- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.- Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.- Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion.- System implementation experience a plus.- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and PowerPoint).
