As a Supervisor within the Canada region's practice, the Business Intelligence, Data Strategy and Governance Consultant will be responsible for working with the Business Intelligence practice leadership in the region to serve clients, by:

  • Executing solution delivery engagements, defining, refining, and documenting client requirements

  • Building reports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools

  • Providing ongoing support to existing clients

  • Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or graduate degree and 4-6 years of related work experience degree with an emphasis in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field and a strong understanding of database systems and data integration.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills specifically overseeing data-related projects.

  • Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently.

  • Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a curiosity about business and technology.

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in developing data governance tools and frameworks, data modeling and metadata management tools, data quality assessment and improvement tools.

  • Experience with data modeling (normalized and de-normalized data models), understanding of the appropriate purpose for each.

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data modeling and creating visualizations.

  • Familiarity with relevant data privacy regulations and industry best practices.

  • Relevant training or certifications, such as Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Data Management Capability Assessment Model Certification (DCAM), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), would be considered an asset.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $147,000
