Data Engineer - Brazil

Data Infrastructure:

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.

• Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.

• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.

• Build data products and reporting tools that automate business processes.

• Assist in translating data analytics into actionable and meaningful reports.

SQL Development:

• Develop high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from our databases.

• Optimize query performance to ensure data accessibility and accuracy for stakeholders.

Integration and Data Quality:

• Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.

• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product.

• Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing.

• A problem solver with a knack for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, and other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.

• Experienced in working with large-scale data infrastructures, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Familiar with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.

• Comfortable with IDEs such as Jupyter Notebook, RStudio, or similar.

• You have 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, ideally in a tech or startup environment.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
