Job Description

The candidate will: 

  • Collaborate with the CoEnterprise onshore team to design and implement effective data warehousing solutions using Snowflake
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes
  • Provide expertise in Snowflake's features and functionality, including the creation and management of users, roles, warehouses, resource monitors, tasks, pipes, streams, and implementing Snowflake role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Manage the integration of Snowflake with cloud storage solutions and analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Conduct QA testing, adhere to system development lifecycle, and execute promotion activities DEV/QA/PROD
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and business documentation, to support system design and architecture

Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years working with the Snowflake Data Cloud
  • 3+ years prior experience in data solution delivery within mid-market or Enterprise-level consulting environments
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize stored procedures and views.
  • Proficient in data warehouse concepts, specifically in designing and implementing fact and dimension tables
  • Proficient coding skills in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, R, or other data science language
  • Integration of AWS S3 and Snowflake
  • Experience with system development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to production deployment and monitoring
  • Knowledge of authentication methods using platforms like Okta for secure identity management related to Snowflake
  • Familiarity w/system integration methods such as APIs and custom connectors

    Professional Skills:

    • Strong capability in creating technical business documentation, with a structured and methodical approach to maintaining deliverables and work artifacts
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • A strong command of the English language, enabling effective interaction with the onshore team and stakeholders
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Snowflake certification a plus
