We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst or Data Scientist to join us asap. Please note: this a permanent role but on a part-time basis, 20 hours per week. There is a requirement of working in a hybrid manner, 50% of the time in the office.

Aim of the position

  • The purpose of this position is to support the TAM business in our region, mainly in Czechia by providing analytical expertise, generating actionable insights, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data analysis and reporting processes.
  • This position covers regular BAU tasks, such as report creation, document preparation, or universe estimation, as well as helping with enhancements of ongoing projects (e.g., quality control creation or automation of processes) and helping with the development of methodology.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Analyze data of various kinds (survey data, electrical measurement of TV viewing or digital measurement of online consumption, etc.)
  • Create reports and documents for presentations to clients
  • Help with the methodological design and parametric estimation of various projects
  • Create universe estimation
  • Create methodological, product, and process documentation
  • Work on automation of processes
  • Work on the creation of quality control tools
  • Collaborating with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams

Skills

  • Undergraduate or graduate student (or alumnus) in a quantitative research field, such as data science, statistics, mathematics, biological/physical sciences, economics, engineering, etc.
  • Outstanding statistical and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel
  • Familiarity with coding principles
  • Enthusiasm for enhancing coding proficiency and learning new skills
  • Proficiency with Python / R / SQL / SPSS / VBA is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Czech and English
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Cooperative and proactive attitude
