Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
  • 3 years of experience in Data Analytics (data analytics or data platforms).
  • Experience with Cloud or SaaS.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience operating in an enterprise technology setting and entrepreneurial environment to scale new programs ground-up.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, influencing and negotiating trade offs with groups including Sales, Marketing, Solutions, Enablement, Partnerships and Product Management
  • Understanding of the cloud market and competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

The Data and Analytics Product Operations team is responsible for driving growth of the Data and Analytics portfolio. This includes working closely with Go-To-Market and Sales teams to drive an annual business plan and supporting external messaging for our Data and Analytics products, related solutions and competitive differences.


We partner closely with product, product marketing and GTM teams to develop and drive business performance and customer satisfaction. This team also drives the market research that helps to predict where the market is trending and where future opportunities lie for our Data and Analytics portfolio. We use insights and data to influence product strategy and investment, scale products from the ground-up, organize product launches and create repeatable go-to-market processes.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand market trends and define business goals, audiences, buyer’s journey, strategy, solutions, positioning, key tactics, budget and dependencies
  • Create product positioning, messaging and presentations for prospective and existing customers, identify technology-driven strategies for customer success. 
  • Interact with Analysts (at a product level) regularly speak /participate at customer advisory councils, conferences, user groups, meetups.
  • Partner with solution-specialists at product-level to drive requirements for vertical and/or horizontal solutions (often require multiple products coming together).
  • Provide our direct and online sales functions with the tools and insights required for success. Starting with a deep respect for customers and the sales process, ensure that our sales teams and partners have the evidence they need.
