Fairmatic is in a critical phase of growth. We grew immensely in 2023 and are now building the systems and processes needed to propel us through the rest of 2024 and beyond. As we continue to grow, it is critical that we identify the right key metrics to measure both leading and lagging indicators of our success. This is where you come in...
In this job you’ll work across functions with our VP of Sales, President of Insurance, and the Office of the CEO. We are looking for someone who is equal parts data analyst and critical thinker. You will work closely with the existing Revenue Operations team and our senior leadership to develop and test hypotheses around what metrics we should be tracking. Then you will build out the systems and infrastructure to enable the broader team to monitor key metrics on an ongoing basis.

In the first 10 days you will…

  • Develop an understanding of our business and who our customers are. You will learn who the different stakeholders are, and understand “the life-cycle of a dollar at Fairmatic”.
  • You’ll do this mostly by sitting in on our regular cadence of business health discussions, as well as ad-hoc meetings that arise as problems are uncovered.
  • Get acquainted with the team, and the problems we face.

In the first 20 days you will…

  • Develop an understanding of what our current set of business metrics are, where that data comes from and how + when it’s prepared.
  • You will take over ownership of these datasets and be responsible for sharing them on a regular basis.

In the first 30 days you will...

  • Be asked to develop new dashboards and reporting mechanisms based on what you have learned so far
  • Generate your own hypotheses regarding what data/information should be measured and managed.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or currently pursuing (Junior or Senior) undergraduate degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a similar field or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights
  • Advanced SQL skills preferred, willingness to learn required
  • Experience with data visualization tool(s) preferred
