Your Contribution

In this role, you will focus on Data to Value & Smart Factory and you work in a corporate team within SCHOTT AG. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting the digitalization of our production processes based on our innovative Smart Factory software solutions with a focus on Data Products & Data Analytics.

  • Analysis and optimization of production processes by advanced analytics and machine learning to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Consulting our users on the introduction and use of Smart Factory solutions.
  • Participation in our "Enabling Team" and implementation of data-driven solutions for efficiency improvement and cost reduction in production.
  • Integration and realization of Smart Factory software solutions based on our Smart Manufacturing portfolio.
  • Conducting training and workshops for users for the effective use of the implemented systems.
  • Providing technical support and ongoing advice.
  • Monitoring current trends and constantly improving our service. You work in an agile and innovative environment using different frameworks, technologies, and user-centered development methods in a responsible role. In doing so, you influence the direction, productivity, and achievement of our goals.

Your Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • B.S. Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering), ideally with a focus on Smart Manufacturing / Digitalization
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • You have experience in project management and customer support.
  • You have solid knowledge in the areas of Data Analytics and Smart Manufacturing
  • You have a good understanding of complex software systems under various technologies such as cloud infrastructures/services, Big Data, and Data Management
  • You have experience in integrating 3rd party applications.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You enjoy working in self-organized teams, are solution- and service-oriented.
  • You have fluent English language skills and experience with agile methods.
  • Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
