Job Description

Revenue Optimizer is a NielsenIQ solution that has changed the face of pricing analytics & revenue growth management with some of the biggest manufacturers in the CPG industry. The solution is centered around world-class software, Machine Learning capabilities, and hands-on consultative approach which delivers actionable insights, and accelerated profit growth to our clients.

The Analyst position is primarily responsible for providing analytic support directly to our clients, as well as our client facing teams. In this role you will work in partnership with other team members and “do what it takes” to deliver against overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive client Value
  • Subject matter expert with the software on both the front and back end
  • Organization, manipulation, and validation of various sources of client data. E.g. Syndicated, Retailer POS, Financial, and Promotional Calendars
  • Develops client-ready content and materials for working sessions and presentations.
  • Lead client training sessions on the Revenue Optimizer tool.
  • Actively contribute to weekly internal planning & alignment meetings
  • Deliver on a range of internal responsibilities to operate efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy, from data validations to client delivery on insights.
  • Working directly with clients to ensure they maximize the value they receive by working with Revenue Optimizer
  • Support on the creation on Thought Leadership through data and insights
  • Lead reporting on Quarterly scorecard on Key KPI’s

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference to Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Data Science
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills; able to translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Solution-focused attitude & change management mindset; demonstrated willingness to challenge the status-quo
  • Client-first mindset and capability to deal with peaks-and-valleys of workload to deliver on expectations.
  • Very comfortable working both independently and as a team member
  • English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and pitch in to get projects done
  • Able to work independently, solve problems, and learn new concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • CPG Industry experience
  • NielsenIQ, IRI and/or Retailer POS data retrieval systems an asset
  • Experience with Pricing Analytics an asset
  • Maximum 4 years of experience in similar roles
  • Very strong at self learning new software tools
