Power BI Report Designer (d/f/m)

The Data Insights & Advanced Analytics team within Global IT is the central Data & Analytics partner of the global Ottobock business. Duties & Responsibilities

We strongly believe in the power of data – from business intelligence to better & smarter MedTech products for our patients. For Ottobock, the journey of a data driven company is one of the top strategic business goals. As Power BI Report Designer and as part of this journey you will 

• support working on governance guidelines for the Power BI environment 
• create Power BI reports and support the migration from other BI tools  
• support the administration of the Power BI environment with 
• configuring security settings and user access 
• monitoring system performance 
• ensuring data security and privacy 
• support users in implementation questions and consult for best practices regarding report design, implementation, and way of working 
• monitor the Power BI Digital Community 
• identify current Power BI related enterprise needs (gateways, connectors, common user issues. etc.)  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Power BI report designer 
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling 
• Project Management skills 
• First experience as Power BI Global Admin is a plus 
• First experience in working with Power Shell, Power BI Rest API is a plus 
• Knowledge and experience in related Azure services preferred  
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud or similar environments is a plus 
• Experience with SAP BW is a plus  
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus 
• Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to learn continuously
