Are you our new Data Management superstar in a team working across the Nordics and the Baltics? Danske Bank has taken on an ambitious Data Strategy to achieve stability, growth and innovation through Data, in the Group. To accelerate this journey, we are looking to expand the Group Data Office with Data Management Specialists.

Our team is the Data & Analytics function for Danske Bank working with each of the businesses to accelerate the adoption of data and utilise analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients.

The Data & Analytics team consists of Data Management, Data Platform, Data Transformation, Analytics Centre of Excellence, Data Programme delivery, Business Intelligence and Data Governance. Data & Analytics is one of the central enablers identified as a priority by Danske Bank’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with significant mandate and support.

As Data Quality Specialist at Danske Bank, you have the following responsibilities, reporting into the Data Quality Lead.

Depending on your experience we can offer you different seniority for the role.

You will:

  • Help develop and maintain Danske Bank’s Data Quality and Issue Management Framework
  • Support in the implementation data quality and issue framework and standards around data quality and data issue management
  • Perform baseline data quality metrics and data ready assessments to ensure data consistency within data domains
  • Work with Data Role Holders (e.g., Data Stewards, Data Owners, etc.) to define data quality standards and metrics to drive continuous improvement in data quality
  • Monitor/audit overall data quality as well as adherence to established policies, standards and frameworks
  • Co-Lead implementation of data quality controls together with Data Stewards
  • Collaborate with data consumers and producers to understand and mitigate domain-specific data quality issues
  • Act as a Data quality subject matter expert (SME), providing quality monitoring and audit support for Data Stewards
  • Collaborate with Data Management solution teams to develop recommendations for procedural and system controls

About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience from working within banking, data management/governance/quality, bank regulations or risk management
  • Practical experience of working with an industry leading Data Quality tool (Collibra experience will be an added advantage)
  • Experience in leading / delivering several engagements using Data Quality Management Tools (preferably Collibra)
  • You are committed and thrive in an environment where you execute and deliver towards sharp deadlines and your ambitions and ability to reach your goals are high
  • You are a team-player, self-driven and have great communication skills (upper-intermedate English is required)
  • You are to bridge tech and business and have good skills within planning/organising, you have high attention to details and enjoy working in cross functional structures

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2880 EUR to 4320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
