About the roleJoin our dynamic and newly founded Analytics team as a Data Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of analytics at Fortis. Collaborating with the wider data department, you'll leverage data-driven insights to optimize decision-making and drive success across various vertical teams including Marketing, Quality Assurance (QA), Community, Player support and more.
You'll play a pivotal role in constructing the company's suite of Analytics dashboards and training the team to utilize them effectively. Additionally, you will dive deep into data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities, providing valuable recommendations
What you’ll achieve
- Build Explores and Dashboards on Looker
- Design data models that feed our analytics products
- Train multiple teams to use our Analytics products
- Analyze large, complex data sets to address strategic and operational questions
- Work with all organization from engineering to marketing, to understand and improve the performance of teams’ initiatives
- Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions using analytics
- Present your findings in a comprehensive way to audiences, from technical to non-technical audiences.
- 2+ years of analytics experience in social tech, games, mobile or consumer web applications
- Strong SQL skills and comfort querying large and complex datasets
- Experience with Looker is a requirement
- Experience in statistical analysis, data mining
- Experience in data preparation, modeling and transformation skills
- Experience with Telemetry: design analytics events, coordinate implementation and QA
- Knowledge in predictive modeling techniques knowledge is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
- Passionate about Analytics and staying up to date
