About you

You are an experienced leader with a strong technical foundation in AI. Not only are you skilled at managing and motivating teams, but you also enjoy rolling up your sleeves and diving into code. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems. You are an advocate for technical excellence, but you also understand the importance of aligning technical objectives with broader business goals. 

In this role you will lead and actively contribute to cutting-edge projects in AI. We seek a hands-on leader who not only manages but also directly contributes to developing AI solutions, ensuring product excellence and fostering a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and technically lead a team of AI and ML Engineers in the design, development, and deployment of innovative AI solutions.
• Actively contribute to coding and development tasks, setting a high standard of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives, aligning with business goals.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risk assessments, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, encouraging hands-on engagement and experimentation.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing technical guidance and career development support.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and methodologies, integrating best practices into team operations.

Requirements

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong technical background in AI and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience in AI technologies and software development, with a portfolio of relevant projects.
• Excellent management skills, with a knack for solving complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team while contributing technically to projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with real-time and large-scale AI solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and understanding of scalable AI architectures.

What's nice to have:

• Familiarity with .NET Core (C#) or Frontend frameworks

For this position, you must be a holder of a valid working permit for Spain.
