Internship: Data Engineering (collaborative)

Job Description

Are you studying Computer Science, Mechatronics or another related subject (HBO/WO) and would you like to do an internship in Lely's technical playground? Then read on quickly!

As an intern you will be working directly in the area of technology scouting for data quality frameworks and creating proof of concept works that will be used by the Data Engineering team at Lely. These types of technologies would be used as common components across most of our project pipelines.

Assing frameworks and resources in the cloud that can help reduce pipeline costs and increase data processing efficiency.

Practical information

• This is a collaborative internship.
• You are available 32-40 hours for the internship.
• You are available from October 2024 for a period of six months.
• You can speak as well as write English.

Qualifications

During this internship you will be working and developing data solutions that can be used by he data & AI community within Lely. These solutions will ultimately help farmers in their day-to-day life worldwide.

Job requirements

• You have knowledge of Data Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Software Engineering; 
• You have interest in cloud technologies with a focus on data pipelines (especially Microsoft Azure related & Databricks/Spark and Python).

Additional Information

Working with a young dynamic team using a scrum/agile framework and closely collaborating with team members located in Maassluis Lely campus and possibly with other team members located across the EU. We offer the opportunity to gain experience at one of the largest industrial robot producers in the Netherlands!
