Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in tax.
  • Experience with data automation and visualization tools.
  • Experience in influencing data sets using SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in programming in Python or R.
  • Experience in ASC 740.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large datasets.
  • Outstanding communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to conceptualize and manage multiple tasks while meeting the required timeline.
  • Knowledge of tax accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tax databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Conduct analysis of tax data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks. Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve data infrastructure and integration with internal systems.
  • Support ASC 740 tax provision and tax compliance activities by providing organized, accurate, and timely tax data. Create data visualizations and dashboards to present complex tax information in a clear manner. Design and implement automated reporting templates and automation processes to continuously enhance efficiency.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to current tax operations and processes. Develop operational playbooks to guide multi-disciplinary teams around complex tax processes, standard operating procedures for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assist with the implementation of new tax automated solutions and data technologies for tax provision, long-range tax forecasting, and Pillar Two global tax framework.
