National Grid is hiring a Senior Data Analyst - Management Data Analysis, for our Protection Controls & Telco Engineering division in Northboro, Massachusetts. This is a hybrid (not remote) position, with approximately 1-2 days in the office weekly.

Job Purpose
To provide technical support from a data analyst perspective to ensure effective National Grid Protection, Control, Metering, and Telecom Engineering (PCMT) operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyzes, evaluates, and documents data requests of Engineering.
- Work with Engineers to track critical milestones and fil project documents into long-term digital storage locations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining multiple asset databases including but not limited to Aspen Line Database, Aspen base case model, regular required data,
- Assist in Procedures and Standards development to demonstrate compliance.
- Effectively support process improvement initiatives as required.
- Assist with the delivery of critical initiatives and other ad-hoc projects aligned with the company objectives.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results and solutions.
- Assist in external contractors and vendors relationship management.
- Assist in developing training for Engineering and field personnel.

Qualifications
- B.S. in an Engineering-related area required.
- A minimum of four years of engineering support experience.
- Strong analytical skills, using systems including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experienced in data analyze and integration with dashboard tools (e.g. SharePoint, PowerBI,)
- Ability to understand multiple relationships between different sources of data to generate easy-to-interpret reports and perform root cause analysis.
- Demonstrate drive to succeed independently as well as in a team-based environment.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable as priorities change.
- Experience with Aspen is preferred.

Salary: $99,000 - $115,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
